The Miraculous Rosary is a powerful and revered form of prayer within the Catholic tradition. It combines elements of the standard Rosary with the devotion to the Miraculous Medal, a sacramental created following the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris in 1830.

The Rosary itself is a series of prayers that meditate on the significant events in the lives of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary, known as the Mysteries. These Mysteries are divided into four sets: the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous. Each set comprises five decades, or groups of ten Hail Marys, preceded by the Our Father and followed by the Glory Be.

The Miraculous Medal, on the other hand, is a small medallion depicting the Virgin Mary as she appeared to Saint Catherine. The medal is believed to bring special graces to those who wear it with faith and devotion. The front of the medal features Mary standing on a globe, with rays of light emanating from her hands, symbolizing the graces available through her intercession. The back of the medal displays a cross and the letter “M,” with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary beneath.
